The TrafficLand public website (www.trafficland.com) and its subscription services help the driving public avoid traffic congestion with online services that provide access to live traffic views from desktop computers and web-enabled cell phones and PDAs. TrafficLand.com users can select and see live traffic views from thousands of public cameras from around the world. The free service uses interactive traffic maps to display available traffic cameras and simple point-and-click navigation to launch live traffic video.
Registered users have the ability to store multi-view displays of frequently traveled routes using the “Favorites” tab. This feature allows users to easily view daily work commutes before heading out the door.
In addition to the free registered user service, TrafficLand offers a fee-based Premium User option. Premium Users can access live traffic camera views from web-enabled cell phones and PDAs using TrafficLand’s AirVideo™ service. The Premium User service also provides desktop access to multi-view displays without advertising.
